"I was looking for a way to build something I could do with my family," says Jon Maust, founder of Joyful Lights. "I wanted to teach my sons hard skills they can use in life, and let them be a part of something bigger."

It all began when Jon shared with his wife his idea of creating something magical for the community around the Christmas holiday.
Jon sold his company and took his first steps in creating Joyful Lights as a full time business.
The first displays were put together and the show was mapped out.
The installation of the show will start at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds.
